Milan accpet PSV's €6m offer for Ricardo Rodriguez (Calciomercato)

Published on: 29 January 2020

Ricardo Rodriguez is close to finally finding a destination as AC Milan have accepted an offer from PSV Eindhoven for the full-back, a report claims.

The Swiss full-back seemed all set to join Fenerbahce last week, however that collapsed despite the Turkish Football Federation sanctioning the move after initially imposing a restriction on the Istanbul club over FFP.

Our mercato expert Vito Angele stated that Rodriguez is on the verge of a move to Napoli with details still to be resolved, but then Gianluca Di Marzio reported that the move is off as Milan have not accepted the conditions.

According to Calciomercato.com, contacts with Dutch side PSV Eindhoven intensified again on Wednesday as the Napoli hypothesis faded.

They report that Milan and PSV have in fact found an agreement on the evaluation of the player and are very close to agreeing a deal on the basis of a €1million loan with obligation to buy set at €5m.

The parties are close to closing the deal and in the evening there may be new contacts to define the details.
