Striker Mohammed Dauda is happy to play his first match for Vitesse Arnhem although it ended in defeat.
The 20-year-old replaced Algerian Oussama Darfalou in the 78th minute at the Hitachi Capital Mobility Stadium as they lost 2-1 to Groningen on the road.
Oussama Darfalou cancelled out Kaj Sierhuis’s 13th minute opener but conceded in injury time to return home empty-handed.
Dauda has joined Vitesse on a season-long loan move from Belgian side Anderlecht.
The former Asante Kotoko player wants to get more game time for the rest of the season.
He posted on his Twitter page: ''It was really exciting to make my first appearance for a wonderful club Vitesse Arnhem but it’s quite unfortunate the result wasn’t good. We will keep on fighting ?? Still Believe.☝?.''
