Rabiu and Jonathan Mensah get new coach at Evian TG

Ghana duo Rabiu Mohammed and Jonathan Mensah will work under a new coach at Evian TG after Pablo Correa replaced Bernard Casoni.

Casoni, a member of the Marseille squad that beat AC Milan in the 1993 Champions League final, signed both players last season.

Midfielder Mohammed was handed a permanent deal after impressing on loan two seasons ago in the second-tier league.

He made 12 appearances under Casoni in the French Ligue 1.

Centre-back Mensah joined the club this summer from Italian outfit Udinese but made only one appearance for the side before being sidelined by a thigh injury.

But the 20-year-old who is expected to leave the side for the Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations camping so will work with him later.

Correa will take his first training session on Tuesday morning before being presented to the press.

The Uruguayan has coached one previous club, Nancy, from November 2002 to the end of the 2010-2011 season, leading them to the Ligue 2 title in 2004-2005 and the Coupe de la Ligue trophy in the following season.
