Stevanovic completely focused on Botswana

Goran Stevanovic says he is absolutely focused on the opening Group D fixture against Botswana and wants nothing to do with the second group game.

Even before the Black Stars kick a ball to commence its journey to end a 30-year wait for an African crown, there are already permutations of how the group will eventually pan out considering results of other group games.

But the Serbian tactician is adamant his focus is not divided and is completely limiting himself to only Ghana games.

“My focus is on our first game against Botswana a very big game for us,” he said.

“Botswana finished ahead of Tunisia in qualifiers and we take them very seriously so Mali will come later.”

“I watch some of the games of Botswana and we showed it to the players today and went through the details and what we need to win the game.”
